Help For Heroes Program

The Help for Heroes Program is designed exclusively to meet the recovery needs of active duty service members, veterans, and first responders dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues brought on by on-duty challenges including combat stress; repeated exposure to traumatic events; grief and loss; and family separation. These adverse or stressful scenarios often trigger trauma-related disorders including:
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Acute stress disorder
  • Combat operational stress
  • Substance abuse disorders
  • Suicidal and homicidal ideation
  • Depression and anxiety
